Parle G factory
The students of Minhaj National English School recently had a memorable opportunity to visit the Parle-G factory, one of India’s most iconic and trusted brands. The visit was organized with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to the world of food production and industry.
The excitement among the children was visible from the very beginning of the journey. As soon as they reached the factory, they were warmly received by the factory staff, who gave them safety instructions and guided them step by step throughout the tour.
The visit began with an introduction to the history of Parle Products, which started in 1929 and has since become a household name across the country. The children listened with keen interest as they learned how Parle-G is not just a biscuit but a brand associated with trust, nutrition, and affordability for millions of families.
The highlight of the tour was the guided walk inside the production unit. Students were amazed to see giant machines mixing flour, sugar, and milk, followed by the automated ovens baking thousands of biscuits at once. They also observed the packaging process, where the biscuits were carefully sealed into packets with high-speed precision. The entire process was a fascinating blend of modern technology and strict quality control measures.
Teachers and students alike appreciated the emphasis placed on cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards inside the factory. The staff explained how every stage of biscuit-making is monitored to ensure the best quality product reaches the market.
The visit was made even more special when the children were given fresh packets of Parle-G biscuits to taste and take home as souvenirs. Their joy knew no bounds as they enjoyed their favorite treat right from the source!
This trip was not just about biscuits; it was about learning. The students gained valuable insights into how industries function, the importance of teamwork, time management, and maintaining high standards of quality. It was indeed a perfect blend of fun and learning.
The day ended with happy faces, enriched minds, and sweet memories. For many students, it was their first industrial visit, and it will surely remain a cherished experience for years to come.
