Minhaj Charitable Dispensary
With the vision of providing medical assistance in a reasonable, accessible, and cost-effective manner, the Minhaj Educational & Welfare Trust, Bhiwandi established the Minhaj Charitable Dispensary in 2021 at Zaitoonpura, Bhiwandi, near Chindi Shah Masjid, behind Koter Gate Masjid. The primary aim of this initiative is to ensure that no individual is deprived of medical care due to financial hardship.
At the dispensary, patients are provided qualified doctors’ consultation along with medicines at a nominal charge of just ₹30, making healthcare affordable for even the poorest sections of society. Moreover, in line with our values of compassion and service, orphans and senior citizens receive this facility absolutely free of cost. This small yet impactful step has helped countless families who otherwise struggle to afford basic medical treatment.
Since its inception, the dispensary has successfully treated over 15,000 patients, out of which more than 4,000 received free treatment and medicines. Our services include general OPD care, specialized diabetes treatment, and Hijama (cupping) therapy, all delivered by a team of dedicated and qualified doctors who serve with sincerity and commitment. For many, the Minhaj Charitable Dispensary has become a lifeline, offering not just medical support but also a sense of dignity and hope.
Through this initiative, we aim to bridge the gap between quality healthcare and financial limitations by creating a model where treatment is affordable, accessible, and inclusive. The impact of this work can be seen in the improved health outcomes within the community and the relief on the faces of patients who no longer have to choose between their health and their livelihood.
