Mr. Rafique Shaikh, an eminent engineer, philanthropist, and educator, laid the foundation of the Minhaj Educational and Welfare Trust (MEWT). He has been working tirelessly for the betterment of society, particularly focusing on orphans and the underprivileged, to uplift their quality of life. Guided by the motto of serving humanity in all aspects of life, he has established a school and a dispensary, and has undertaken numerous welfare initiatives under MEWT. His mission extends beyond education and healthcare to include the empowerment of women, care for the elderly, and overall community development. His efforts continue as he strives to realize future projects aimed at building a more compassionate and inclusive society.
Minhaj Educational & Welfare Trust (MEWT) is one of the non-government charity organizations. It helps to support the poor and needy orphans in marginalized communities working for their rights, providing them the access to education, basic healthcare and means for social, economic & welfare support. MEWT aims to remove short term difficulties and is committed to work to its long term and sustainable goals. We hope that you will continue in supporting MEWT in all its endeavors in creating a safer city.

To provide education in literature, commerce, agricultural science, social and technical fields, and physical education, from pre-primary to college-level institutions. This is done to educate society and promote national integration.
To establish and manage computer institutions that provide education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and other technological, technical, and non-technical degree and master’s degree courses.
To provide free textbooks, exercise books, uniforms, and food to needy students.
To grant scholarships, cash prizes, and distribute gifts, presents, and awards to students.
To support and promote education and awareness of the latest developments by conducting guidance classes and establishing study rooms and libraries.
To establish medical and engineering colleges.
To provide completely free education to needy orphans and offer special concessions to poor students under our yearly quota.
To establish skill development centers.
To promote and support girls’ education.
To support educational and welfare NGOs.

To assist in relief measures in areas affected by natural calamities such as famine, fire, flood, epidemics, droughts, earthquakes, and other major accidents, for all people irrespective of caste, creed, color, religion, or sect (Maslak).
To establish an old age home.
To provide interest-free loans to the poor and needy.
To promote and establish interfaith relations.
To create clean water solutions for the poor and needy in marginalized communities.
To distribute ration to the poor.
To feed the poor and needy.
To provide access to water for all by using various techniques.
To work for the empowerment of women.
To provide employment opportunities.

To collaborate with other charitable trusts, societies, or private organizations to operate charitable schools, hospitals, or undertake other charitable activities.
To develop research and development centers for the betterment of the country.
Under the banner of “MINHAJ EDUCATIONAL & WELFARE TRUST”, to celebrate national occasions such as 15th August, 26th January, and 2nd October.
To start a newspaper and a news channel.

To establish a financial institution.
To provide interest-free loans to educational and welfare societies for the betterment of mankind.
To start small-scale businesses for the upliftment of economically backward communities or to launch self-sustaining economic projects.
To establish a microfinance bank and business initiatives.

To arrange facilities such as hospitals, ambulance services, medicines, and health clubs.
To organize blood donation camps, eye check-up camps, diabetes check-up camps, and other health camps for the public.
To grant subscriptions and donations to hospitals, dispensaries, convalescent homes, asylums, nursing homes, and other public institutions providing medical relief, on such terms and for such periods as the Trust may deem appropriate.
